So, I’m late for this particular bandwagon. Nevertheless, the impact hasn’t been diluted. If you’re wondering what I am talking about, it’s Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series. I’m halfway through the 3rd book, Eclipse, and I have vowed to finish the series by the end of the week.
For fans of the book, particularly Edward Cullen, you might be interested in these videos: Part 1 and Part 2 by my friend Aileen of www.ShyGirlGuide.com.
Thanks to Liezel for sharing these books with me and Jem, for reminding me to read them.
And yes, I’m for Team Switzerland.

I just had to give a shout out to Josh Groban! I was able to watch the first hour and a half of the blah awards show but I was laughing at Josh Groban’s performance. It felt surreal at times but I have to say I enjoyed it.
For the life of me, I never thought that I’ll see Josh singing as Cartman and rapping “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”. I also did a double take on his spot-on announcement of Conan O’Brien ala Joel Goddard! Though, I shouldn’t have been surprised especially after his participation in the “I’m F***ing Ben Affleck” video.
Also, props to having Ed McMahon do his Heeeeereee’s Johnny line plus Animal taking on the drums before being abducted by aliens.
Hilarious!

To my blog! Today marks my 5th year in the blogosphere starting with my first blog over at Blog-city.com
What started as something to while away my time in between jobs is now probably the longest time that I have continuously written about my life, thoughts and aspirations.
The domain, ScribbledBabbling.com, was something to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the blog. The first post on this completely new domain actually appeared on September 3, 2005. For the first time, I actually was able to launch something before my target date! I secured the domain after a shopping spree with Josh.
As it is, this is not yet what I have envisioned for the site. There are still a lot of things on my drawing board and it is the journey that keeps me wondering and wandering. To all the readers of the blog (Yes, all 6 of you. :)), thank you for sharing this online experience with me.

I was skeptical at first but I can’t stop watching this. hahaha
I don’t agree with the selection of all the designers in the competition and I felt that some of them are set up for failure. While some designers already have enough exposure.
Let’s see if I can get into the groove and I can sustain this

I’ve had all sorts of ideas for blog posts but I’ve only had the chance to actually start blogging now.
It’s been a busy couple of weeks. I’ve been going to work on the weekend either to teach or to facilitate with other people who teach. Despite this, it’s been fruitful in other aspects as I’ve managed to dig deep and pull up new learning opportunities.
On the more private side of things, I’ve been in touch with several long-lost friends. Long-lost because I’ve fallen out of touch with them because of various reasons. Some friends experienced life changing moments, while others simply had the time to catch up. I wasn’t able to meet up with any of them face-to-face but thank God for Facebook, Multiply, text and YM!

Dr. Horrible is simply AWESOME!
Joss Whedon has done it again! This web event certainly got my attention. I braved the intermittent connections and frustrations over the streaming video and it was well worth it. I will definitely get this on DVD.
Not only does it have Neil Patrick Harris, who I loved as Doogie Howser and who I am loving more as Barney Stinson, but also my beloved Captain, Nathan Fillion.
Please, please support this project when it comes to DVD. Or if you are able to buy from the US iTunes music store, please do so. Joss needs to pay his cast and crew and the world needs to see more of Dr. Horrible.

It’s been a while since I last watched a tennis game and boy, was I glad to see Rafa and Roger go head-to-head in the Wimbledon final!
During the final of the French, I said that it would be Rafa in 4 sets. It was a bit of a letdown when Rafa simply demolished Roger in 3. That said, I said that I’ll go for the same number of sets but with the opposite result for the Wimbledon final. Even though I didn’t get it right, I was just so glad with the way that the match was played.
Rafa had me at the edge of my seat with every stroke. Possibly the best I’ve seen him play. Roger also was good but he didn’t blow me away as much as the other guy. Though his crosscourt backhand is simply a
It’s been two days and I am still reeling. Whew, what a match!
As a sidenote, I was surprised to see Jonas Bjorkman still playing. A Ladies’ final with the Williams sisters also was a treat.

I’m slowly going crazy because of too much work. For some reason, July is looking to be a very busy month with several spillovers for August as well. Even my weekends are booked!
Well, some of those bookings are for personal reasons but booked nonetheless! My room is back in its typical look– in shambles.
